My friends and I have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Buganvilla. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had not been to Malta before and Joe and Antoinette were a huge part of it being a really memorable and special holiday. Joe collected us from the airport which was great and also helped us sort out a car to hire for the week. Both Joe and Antoinette took the time to chat to us every day and gave tips and advice on what to see and do if we needed it which helped us make the most of our short trip.
The accomodation itself is lovely and set around a shady courtyard full of tress and plants. The rooms were spotless, of a high quality and were cleaned everyday. As we had booked both rooms we were the only guests and had the top terrace to ourselves which was lovely. J
oe served us a hearty breakfast every morning. There was a good variety of choice including and cold and hot options and he took time to find out what food we liked and seved it up the next day!
I noticed that some people have scored the location lower however we felt that it wasn't an issue. This may be due to us having a car and finding it such an easy island to get around. Having seen some of the more touristy areas we were really happy that we were in a more traditional town.
All in all we thought that both the owners and the accomodtion were perfect and we all felt that we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on future trips to Malta. We would highly recommend staying here and will certainly return ourselves.
