My wife and I dined at Tides Friday October 2, to sum it up overpriced and painfully slow service. We have dined here over the past 6 years and I have always thought that it was too expensive for the quality of food, but sometimes in life you need to make compromises, to save the remainder of your vacation. The appetizers took 45 minutes, and the main course anther 30 minutes. Only one local item on the menu, the rest are all imported which not only cheats the visitor from local fare but also cheats the Island from supporting its local farmers and fishermen. On a positive note the location and setting can not be beat, but it is so stuffy no music dead quiet the only thing you hear is the surf and the clicking of the forks and knives.
