“Fantastic service and views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

My gluten free daughter and I went to the tides to celebrate our birthdays. It was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, the food and the service were outstanding!

“A lovely time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

We booked a table as soon as we arrived in Barbados via our hotel concierge to avoid any disappointed of not getting a table. This was our third visit to The Tides. On arrival we were shown straight to our table which was sea front. Very beautiful setting.
My husband and I very much enjoyed the food. We found plenty to chose on the menu. Not too rushed. As well as having very tasty food we felt full! We felt the setting, ambience, service and food represent good value for money. We chatted to the Chef as we were were leaving. We will be back!

“Excellent return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Dined at Tides again this year.It is our favourite restaurant in Barbados. Location is lovely with the gentle sound of the surf on the carefully placed rocks. The welcome is always great with very attentive staff and the food is superb. We started by sharing the seafood special which was amazing, I've never seen such large spider crab legs, and although relatively expensive was worth the price. Wines are also very reasonably priced and of a high standard.
It's quiet at present on the Island so a part of the restaurant was closed off when we visited this meant that the atmosphere remained great as there was not a sea of empty space.
I cannot praise the whole experience of dining at Tides too highly. it is simply a must and we will certainly be returning the next time we visit Barbados.

“Excellent all round.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Dinner here in May. The whole evening from arrival to the end was perfect. We had booked the day before when we walked past at lunchtime and even then the staff were great. Arrived had pre dinner drinks and not rushed, the meal was excellent and served at the pace we wanted. My scallops were probably the best I have had in years. The staff were attentive and very helpful when needed to resolve a question that they had to google! The wine list was excellent value for Barbados. Thoroughly recommended. The meal ,champagne on arrival and 2 bottles of an excellent Meursault for £100 per head.
