We dropped in here several times when on trips to the shopping centre (we still call it a shopping centre even though it is now a "mall" - they put a roof on the previously open shopping arcade since we started coming to Barbados).
Although it is now indoors rather than outside, it is still fun for people-watching and having a nice bite to eat at the same time, its a typical cafe in a shopping area. There are some images on Visitbarbados.org that give a fair impression of the location.
I had a weakness for their iced cream and lighter food, although there were other customers tucking into substantial meals that looked good even if I could not have eaten that much. We stayed with iced tea for most of the time, with the occasional cappuchino, and they were all fine and refreshing, especially after a trip around the supermarket for the week's provisions.
No qualms at all about recommending this place for a recharge and some nice food, the staff were attentive too, we never felt neglected, although on a couple of occasions we were "on a schedule" and had to go up to the till to cash out.
The tip I'd offer is that you choose a table beneath a fan if you can spot a free one, in an enclosed "mall" it is nice to have some air moving past!
