We are currently on a trip to Barbados and although not staying at the coral reef we were recommended to go and have lunch there, we also had a resort tour.
We arrived at reception and were seated in the more casual outdoor bar area overlooking the ocean, our first impressions were good although there was a lot of vegetation. We decided to choose lunch from the bar menu, for drinks I had a banks beer and my wife had a frozen savannah sunshine (mango and rum cocktail), both drinks were excellent. We ordered a reef club sandwich and a reef pizza, both dishes arrived about 25 minutes after ordering and were well presented and enjoyable.
We were served by Debora, prince and Melissa who were very nice and attentive, Melissa then gave us a tour of the resort which we were impressed with although it had a lot of vegetation around it.
There were no young people with the age group between 45 and 80, it well caters for the older professional couples and there were no children at all to be seen. The hotel wouldn't suit us due to the age dynamics and only a small beach front but we would recommend it for lunch when passing.
Our total meal plus drinks bill was 130 Barbados dollars.
