“Ok but expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

The food took a long time to arrive and the staff were not very friendly. The main course was ok but the pizza was not particularly value for money. We skipped dessert and went elsewhere so overall not a brilliant experience.

“Wanted to enjoy it more but couldn't until the last moment!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012 via mobile

Visited twice, both times because, in one way or another, we hadn't reservations elsewhere and there happened to be a table available here. I got the feeling on both occasions that the waiting staff were less than interested in their roles and a smile was difficult to extract from the lady front of house. The food was average and the waiting staff showed little interest in the food they were serving. However, during the last 30 minutes of our second visit we had the fortune to have a change of waitress - an enthusiastic and engaging woman (younger than the rest dare I say?) who cared about our experience. The more jaded members if staff should take note of what this lady was doing. This restaurant is trading off its location alone at the head of 2nd St, but could do sooo much better with a different attitude (oh, and slightly thicker pizza dough - how do they get it sooo thin!?!).

“Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012 via mobile

This is a lovely restaurant set on the corner of the beach. The food is simple and tasty and the staff friendly and attentive. The flame lit torches create a nice atmosphere in the evening. Great for a sunset drink too.

“The reviews are correct.....they overcharge still !”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

We have visited Spago's on a number of occaisions in the past and have not always recieved good service but the food has been OK. We went back this year despite reading a number of not so good reviews on Trip Advisor about their habit of over charging. It was a quiet night in Holetown and the service was average, we only wanted a pizza so the food was OK, BUT....they are STILL OVERCHARGING so please check your bill. It was easy to spot as there were only two of us but they tried to charge us for three pizza's and it then took them a long time to sort it out. Buyer beware !

“Surprising !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Called for dinner on a very quiet Saturday evening - other than a table of one we were the only other diners - as we arrived on a very sultry evening I commented on how quiet it was - the waitress agreed but also pointed out that the whole street was quiet that evening - she was right. The service was excellent and the food was basic, hot and was exactly what we expected.
