“Luxury Lodge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Booked the room on the strength of previous reviews, which seemed too good to be true, but the standard of accommodation was even better than expected - spotless and well appointed. Freshly made cream tea with warm blueberry scones on arrival were much appreciated. Location good - a five minute walk from the beach - but the breakfast spread surpassed it all.
Would not hesitate to book again and can definitely recommend.
Many thanks to Dave (and Lena although we didn't have the pleasure of meeting her).

My parents stayed for a mid-week break at the beginning of September. They were thrilled with the quality of this B & B and the welcome that they got. The home made scones, cream and jam on arrival was a first class touch. The bedroom was spotless and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was more than they could have wished for and the variety the best they had ever had, from fruit, cereals, preserves and croissants to a full English breakfast. They could not have asked for more from this lovely B & B run by a lovely couple who clearly care about their guests. They would have no hesitation in returning.

The room was lovely, clean, bed was comfy and the en suite was great . Dave was the host we seen most, there to welcome us with some lovely blueberry scones freshly made and a lovely cup of tea ( coffee for the other half ) . Breakfast was lovely the choice was great . Would definitely recommend to those wanting a quiet retreat . We based ourselves there and went out and about .

What a lovely b&b. a really warm welcome topped off by the offer of home made scones and jam. On the edge of the town and just a short walk too the nearest pub. The beds was amazingly comfortable, and the bath was a real treat. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality

Room Tip: Puffin room is worth the extra

My husband and I stayed here yesterday and it was just as all the other reviews said, fantastic. The welcoming afternoon tea with homemade cakes were a lovely welcome, especially sitting in the sunny garden. We will be coming back.

I booked this for my husbands birthday present as he has always wanted to go to Cromer. It looked very nice on the internet and as its only a few miles out of Cromer I thought it seemed a good choice. When we drove through Cromer to get there, I was thankful that we hadn't actually stayed in Cromer! We never even visited Cromer!!! Mundesley itself is a beautiful little place, a quiet little town with a lovely beach. I fell in love with the place!! The B&B is fabulous inside! We had the room with the jacuzzi bath - which was fab - a nice treat! The room is a little on the small side for £80 a night, but it is so beautifully done out like the rest of the B&B that it's not an issue. Also the bed was so comfortable I wish I could have taken it home!!!! The breakfast is wonderful! We had tea/coffee/cakes a little while after arriving (we were early so we went for a walk!). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this B&B - it's really stunning accommodation in the most beautiful little spot - I can't wait to return and will be telling all my family & friends about it.

Room Tip: The whole place is done out amazingly - we had the room with the jacuzzi which was a nice treat

I needed a room for the evening in Mundesley after travelling across the country to visit a relative. Booked this last minute after a quick Google not knowing what to expect. It is the best B. & B. I have ever stayed in. Superb en suite with state of the art power shower and those cool waterfall taps in the sink. Spotlessly clean - everywhere. Seaside feel to all the impeccable decor. Then there was the breakfast - help yourself buffet or cooked options galore - all of the highest quality and lots of fruit and healthy stuff. Great lovation in this gem of a seaside village. Doesn't come any better. Oh, forgot to mention the bed - just right - how often do you get that in a hotel B&B - I often find them too hard.
