We had a good time talking with the owner Emil, and his advertising man who goes up and down the beach to let people know the specials for the day. The Coconut shrimp is an excellent dish with a great deal of Monday night lobster special of 3 lobster tails for $16. Loved the fact that the lobster and fish fillets were grilled rather than fried. The Monkey La-La drink is definitely worth it if you like the Kahlua, Baileys, frozen coconut rum, and chocolate combination, but best as a desert. They were very accommodating to making adjustments in the menu even though they didn't have the shrimp that they felt comfortable serving, but offered to up-size the portion to make up for it. If you like chatting away with the locals, you can ask Emil and his advertising man just about anything, and he will even teach you some English Creole.
