Have over 450 dives--all over the world--this is one of the friendliest staff of dive masters (and ALL) staff I have encountered. They are also competent and safety conscious. I saw all the proper DAN emergency equipment available, dive briefings were thorough and informative and they separated the "newbies" from advanced divers (if on the same boat) by using different dive masters and not following the same profile. I also felt personal concern and care about me as a person. My dive buddy became ill halfway through our dive days (unrelated to diving), and the staff asked about him everyday--it seemed they were worrying about an old friend! The staff set up and handled the gear after the first dive (they wanted you to set it up the first time, so they knew how you exactly wanted things.) I have knee issues, and was given all the help I needed (and more) and was never made to feel like a burden. They were extremely conscious of not having you need to repeat dive sites (there are dozens), so your experience was always new. The boat captains, also, were always skilled and safe. The shop owner, Maria, frequently leads the dives, and she is a delight--above or under water! I feel like I should name the rest of the staff as they were also personable--but I am afraid I'll leave a name out. They are fluent in (obviously) Spanish, English, and French. If I ever return to Roatan, I wouldn't dive with anyone else. Jan D.
