“Great Food and Service for a nice evening out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

One of the best meals we had on the Island. It was pricier than a lot of the other places but worth it. Great service…great wine and drinks and my steak was like butter and cooked perfectly! AWESOME DESSERTS!!!

“PERFECT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

The Vintage Pearl is one of the best place in the world, the food was unbelievable the deserts were great and the drinks were great. One of the best steaks and crab I have ever had. We walked out full and satisfied. We paid $190 for 3 of us that included dinner, desert and 2 to 3 drinks per person, maybe high for Roatan but it was awesome.

“Very good -a little pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

We went here 3 times , once for dinner, two times for appetizers and wine. Very good food, the only place on the island to have wine that didn't taste sour from the heat. It is a little pricey for the Island, about moderate if you compare to US prices. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner.

“Great Food Something Has To Give Here”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Being a Chef myself let me get started. On the poisitive side of things, really good food and nice presentation. The downside, VERY VERY slow service for our group of five. Our waitress was attentive to our needs but the Chef must have been playing cards or took a nap. There were only 13 guests seated when we arrived, so with our group it made it a total of 18. Our group ordered drinks which arrived fairly prompt and our menu options were explained quite well (hats off to our waitress). A fairly long lag time took place before ordering starters and a even longer time to get them, why I do not know. Three of our group ordered steaks, one had fresh tuna, and I had the pasta with lobster in a creamy parm cheese sauce. What should have taken 30 minutes (a very generous amount of time given what was ordered) ended up taking just shy of three hours start to finish. No excuses were given and most of our group were quick to point out that this was my choice for that evening and that my future recommendations on the island would be taken with a grain of salt. It's a shame that it came to writing a bad review but if I owned or managed this place the Chef's last day in the kitchen would have been the very next day. I know full well that good Chefs are hard to come by in a laid back island atmosphere but, they are supposed to a least put out an effort to get their food out to the diners. It would have been nice for the Chef to come by our table and try to explain the shortcomings but that did not happen either. This unique place will no doubt be under either new managment / owner or their business will continue to spiral downward. So I say "Tourist" be ware!

“American prices but worth every bit of it!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

I will have to say...after the soup or salad (both amazing), amazing steak, dessert and 2 bottles of wine...we walked away paying $60 a person. Although pricey for Honduras...it was worth it. I would totally go back again. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was pure charm.
