Tabayana Beach is great when you're not staying at West Bay. They have beach chairs, snorkeling gear and they'll watch your belongings so you can enjoy the snorkeling.
Beautiful and quiet white sand beach and pristine waters. The reef is just 25 feet from shore and you can see a lot of amazing sea live. No currents to worry about and zero boat traffic.
This is the most beautiful ocean I have ever seen and I have seen a lot the water 15 shades of blue and you can see clear to the bottom at 50 ft the beach it self is great white sand and groomed by most of the nearby resorts. There are people selling things on the beach but they aren't aggressive if you say no thanks they move on. We will be back
Spent a great deal of time in Tabyana Beach. The water was calm and warm -- perfect for snorkleing and swimming. The only downside was that some of the reef was very shallow so you have to be very careful so you don't get reef rash. There is a very nice drop (walk to the very left until it ends and you'll see a huge arch sticking out of the water) near the arch, but since the reef was so shallow, it was like a maze getting through to see the drop. It was definitely worth it, though!
This is the quiet beach on West Bay with few beach salespeople. The sand is white and soft with shallow clear water. Standing waist deep you can see many fish swimming around you. There is some construction noise from condos on beach.
