I went with a friend I hadn't seen for ages who recommended visiting the town for its amazing red granite houses. We didn't book the restaurant but my friend spotted a great favourite of his on the menu tete de beau I think it was, literally calfs head (yes sounds a bit weird but apparently quite a delicacy) so we took a table. I ordered lamb from the a la carte menu and we both had an aperitif
Everything was absolutely delicious - including my kir peche (peach with champagne), the staff were very helpful - they also gave my friends dog a bowl of water, and yes they were fine about a dog in the restaurant, but then this is France where that is ok. We were there over two hours and never felt rushed or that they were pushing us out. We sat on the terrace but inside looked lovely too.
I'd definitely go back, recommended.
