First time for us in the South of France. This site is excellent, direct beach access, plenty of choices of accommodation, lots to do on site and off. Good location for visits to Carcassonne, Perpignan, and lots of small towns on the Med.
One minor downside for us was our choice of accommodation, next year well choose a cabin near the lake, they look wonderful. Mobile home was fine but little Sun on the terrace, all those around us had plenty.

Came here with our 2 kids, 2 & 9months for our first holiday in France, we used the keycamp company. We were greeted by Karen in a huge thunder storm, she was very pleasant and ignored the rain and cycled to the mobile homes and checked us in. The homes was the largest in there group, we found it spacious and well equipped. We had asked for baby extras which were all there. The site it self is a very mature looking site with loads of trees. The pool area although very well equipped I felt for all ages was showing the strains of a long season, all cosmetic. The slides and large pools had loads of space and never a problem to get a sun bed, bearing in mind it was sept. we had a few issues with the mobile Hme which keycamp or the site owners couldn't have stopped, Neil and Karen rectified these over the wk. The well equipped shops and bakery at the entrance are very handy although more expensive than the supermarkets but for convenience there are very good. The bar is modern and clean and tidy, didn't sample the evening entertainment so can't give an opinion. The take away food is very good had it on 2 occasions and can't fault it. Went for dinner in the restaurant @ 6.30 and were seated but never received a menu so after 15mins we left. This was the only bad point of the holiday. Beach is right beside the site and is only 3/4 mins walk from anywhere on the site. Overall a very good and friendly site

Travelling with husband, 2 boys-5 & 8, with Thomson al fresco. Found it very busy and loud. We paid for a top of the range mobile, but not that great. Prefer key Camp which are bigger and better layout. I know it's peak season but we went to France at this time 2 years ago and the campsites were lovely. Here the entertainment went on till 1am every night and even though we were a good 5 mins walk from centre, we could still hear it booming away, and then everyone returning home! Good points - restaurant on site was lovely as was beach, decent restaurants within walking distance. Pool ok and always just managed to find sunbeds, although they are all crammed together. The baby pool was only suitable for babies/toddlers, could have done with a play pool/slides for slightly older children.

Very nice place to stay with kids. Plenty of things to do. Water slides, kids club, particularly the pottery club.
Was a very nice week spent in June. A couple of nice restaurants just outside the park.

This was our second trip to Les Sablons after 4 years and during peak season. I must confess some of the reviews left me slightly nervous as to whether we had made the correct choice. We went with Eurocamp with a 2 parties consisting of grandparents, parents and children and everyone thought the holiday was excellent. So much so, we have booked to go back next year.

The Eurocamp reps were brilliant and our children LOVED the kids club, they went everyday.

Les Sablons itself was busy, but its school holidays so what else would you expect, but we had no problem getting a sunbed on any day.

On our first visit to Les Sablons, the entertainment by Les Sablons was pretty ropey, but they have really improved this. The entertainment was either good or passable all evenings and the swimming competitions etc by the pool were excellent.

I found the staff at Les Sablons really friendly and Faye the head rep of the campsite kids club used to be Eurocamp rep and is lovely.

I would say that since our last holiday there Les Sablons have really stepped up a notch and it was a brilliant holiday.

We have just got back with two teenager girls. The site it self was pretty much what we expected clean tidy mixed bag of entertainment either excellent or really rubbish. The beach is lovely but no shade site shop bit overpriced better off going to hypermarket about 5 minute drive away the thing we had a problem with was the pool not as good as advertised the slides are off limits as the taken over for large amounts of time by the small kids club and nobody else can use them No balls no inflatables no snorkels no board shorts all a bit strict really

Holidayed at Les Sablons first two weeks in July with the family (kids 16yrs & 13yrs). This is a very well run site with excellent direct beach access a short stroll away. I won't go into too many details as they have been well documented in previous reviews......pitch too small!, pool too crowded!, shop too expensive!.......get over it......it's the South of France in high season.

We had a fantastic holiday. Les sablons is by far the best site we have visited in France (booked already for next year).....the on site security was great, shops well stocked, no yobbish behaviour, and the entertainment was just what you expect on a French campsite....but they really put their heart and soul into it.

ps....after one day of wearing your budgie smugglers, you forget all about them....afterall, when in Rome!

Room Tip: Remember that you are on holiday......and have a good time.
