Breakfast consisted of bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, toast etc- but my personal favourite was the home-made muesli with (freshly) cut fruit and yoghurt. Both were out of this world. I’m not sure where the chef trained, but being of Italia descent, I can only say that the pasta was delicious (perfectly al dente, with tomatoes, olives, anchovies and capers). Others at my tale enjoyed rump steak: cooked to perfection. We were also given bread with a home-made olive spread, freshly prepared in the Olive Terrace kitchen. All in all: when accommodation and food is good- one can be quite content. Added to this was the staff, all of whom were clearly happy to be of assistance at all times. I can only describe it as if they worked because they wanted to, and not because they had to. Finally I have to give credit to the owner (Alasdair McRobbie), who is an equally polite, kind and helpful person. Thank-you so much
