“Really enjoyable stay not too far from home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2011

Wanted a few days getaway and stayed at Links Lady Bay. The accommodation and rooms are spacious (King Spa Suite) and modern. Close to Normanville and other surrounding towns for a short relaxing break. Golf, eating and relaxing at the resort would stay there again.

Room Tip: Above the golf course looking out to sea.

We booked very last minute for June long weekend having never been to Normanville and were just amazed at how great the weekend was. The hotel was just lovely, all quite new, gorgeous big apartment-type room with everything we needed. Stunning relaxing view over the golf course from our spacious lounge. our 2 y.o. loved the playground and there was plenty of space in the room for all 3 of us. Great having the kitchenette with a little one too.

I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. I find it is the small details that makes hotels relaxing and this seemed to have it all covered:
- big comfy bed (yes it was 2 twins but that never fusses me, just makes the bed bigger.
- decent curtains, we all slept like the dead and it is quite a treat having a 2 yo not wake until 7.30am as it was so dark in the room
- big lovely bathroom
- no stupid complicated lamps everywhere (god is that one of my no 1 gripes about hotels), just lights that you turn on with a switch.....wow.....such a novel concept!

Normanville is lovely with a couple of nice cafes for breaky. We ate both nights from the hotel bistro. Good pizza and pasta, the KI whiting was quite frankly dreadful and slightly embarrasing to such a good hotel but a minor gripe in what was a great weekend. We will definitely be back.

Large rooms and great views over the ocean.
Kangaroos on the golf course outside patio windows, fantastic sunsets.
Quite hotel with pleasant staff eg Tess at the reception and the others always willing to assist with any request,
Right next to Mary Mckillop's first Josephite Country School and church.
Nearby great beaches and close to town.
Hotel facilites includes a tennis court, great swimming pool and a enclosed playground for children.
I will be back with my grandchildren to enjoy the surrounding facilites provided by The Links.
Can highly recommend this place as the best on the Peninsula.

Room Tip: Try off season

Great resort with fantsatic facilities. Had a delicious meal at the resteraunt, our two year old was continuously entertained by the playground and my husband was entertained by the excellent golf course. The rooms were wonderfully set out with everything we could ask for, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
