We have remodeled rooms and bathrooms (new tiles), LCD, cable TV, duvet covers (we love this system because it permits our guests to sleep on a clean bed), hot water, and free wireless. “Great poolside!”

I was here as a part of a group stay for one week. They provided for us well with nicely presented meals and waiters. The pool was lovely with a few in the group doing morning yoga in the shallow "cliff" on one side. The pool side rooms appeared very nice. Our room was in the old section, and although nicely redone and decorated, we had a few problems with shower leaking, towel rack coming down etc. When brought to staff's attention, problems were addressed if not fully resolved. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Room Tip: poolside, if within your budget

“Like being at home”

This hotel has been amazing.. including the new transformations. The staff and the menu are excellent for Santiago, the rooms have been upgraded and the beds are comfy and nice linens.à

This hotel is a must on your way thro to anywhere in Panama.. ask for Ana, the manager. She speaks English and is a wonderful woman for help, suggestions, and info in general.

Room Tip: The older rooms are a bit small, but very clean and well kept. The housekeeping staff is excellent...

“Reasonable price for good room”

Not sure what happened with the folks with the other reviews here, but my room was nice and very, very clean. Immaculate sheets, clean bath, and pretty room with TV and WI-FI. A friend helped negotiate and get the room for $35 a night. Definitely don't accept what they first say is the price and mention you are a "Jubliado" (retired person) to get a discount for that.

I would recommend this place, but maybe check the room quality before paying. The women at the desk were not friendly, but the people in the restaurant were very nice.

“Dirty!”

This place was really dirty! And I'm not talking about details like windows or hallways... I'm talking about dirty sheets, dirty pillows and dirty rooms!!! Thank God I always travel with some basic things... Such as ALLERGY PILLS. Sheets were not clean and there was even HAIR all over the bed and pillowsss!!!! I checked in too late so I couldn't go anywhere else. I had to put some pashminas and towels on top of the bed to at least try to sleep!!! This place was awful!
