We booked an apartment here because of nice pics on their web site and great reviews at Tripadvisor...But I knew that something was wrong the minute we arrived..

First of all, the hotel is placed virtually above a highway!!! This is as "non-Tuscan" as it gets.
The noise and air-polution make it impossible to use the pool and outside facilities.

One great thing about Tuscany is it's views - Everywhere you look, there is an amazing view. Except for this hotel..One side of our apartment was overlooking a factory, while the other was facing an ugly back-yard.

The service here was non-existing. The staff, who could not speak English, insisted that we payed for the accommodation in advance and were otherwise impossible to get in touch with, when we needed their assistance.

The hotel and rooms are new and clean, but unfortunately everything looks like a weird movie-set. Details like a built-in room temperature controller, which shows the temperature of -5C or a strange back-door in the room (can not be opened) only contribute to this feeling.

This place would be ok as a German highway motel, but in Tuscany this is a NO-GO..
