We arrived before 7pm and the place was already pretty full and rocking, with a great atmosphere.
There is a good selection of real ales, well kept and served.
The service was enthusiastic and helpfull all of the way through, if you needed anything, the staff were paying attention.
The choice of food was good, well cooked and served. However, beware of the "whole Sea Bass!" It may be whole, but these fish haven't reached puberty yet and are tiny! We have seen larger Gudgeon!
That said, everything else was good, there is a wide choice of nice wine at reasonable prices. Puddings were well received.
Overall, only a pub maybe, but great atmosphere and quality food that many resturants would struggle to meet. Well worth a visit.
