We went to Spitiko with a group of ten friends after hearing that Phil Vakos from masterchef was now part owner. We were warmly greeted at the door by Phil and promptly seated at our table and within 2min were served our appetizers which were delicious selection of dips served with warm pita and bread. This was to be the beginning of an absolute banquet prepared by Phil for us the amount of food that came to our table was a gastronomic delight baked feta cheese, fried haloumi, pickled octopus,calamari,delicious pastitio, beetroot salad with roasted almonds, greek horta ,Greek salad,roasted potatoes with herbs,yiros, lamb and chicken souvlaki, continental sausage, and baked goat washed down with a lovely Greek sauvignon blanc it was amazing! It was also my friends birthday and Phil made the most delicious ganache tart filled with Turkish delight followed by Greek fried donuts (loukoumathes) which were filled with Turkish delight also all washed down with plenty of ouzo. The food was very reasonable in price and We all had a wonderful time left very contented and happy after having a truly wonderful night to remember. Well done Phil we'll be back soon!
