Easily one of the best places to eat in Agonda. Even if you are not veggie/vegan, you must try Blue Planet Cafe.
We went for dinner twice during our fortnight's stay and wished we had gone more often. It is a bit out of the way, so you will need to go by scooter/tuk tuk if going for dinner, as it's down a very bumpy track.
We were there in November, so it was very quiet in the evenings, but apparently lunchtimes are busier.
The food was incredible. Fresh, interesting ingredients, beautifully executed. Each meal comes with a selection of items, much like a mezze. The flavours were great (particularly if you love garlic!) and the portions huge. Everything that we tried we loved, but the lasagne and the pumpkin fritters deserve a special mention.
The setting is lovely and the husband and wife team who run it are so friendly and charming. Wonderful place.
