We stayed at om sai beach huts for a week, Hut's(Half beach view) condition was good, toilet was clean, mosquito net didn't have any holes. :P Placement of Huts was very good, Beach hut management guys Neelesh and Sachin were very friendly and helping, Agonda Beach is quite a quiet place, long stretch of beach, Om sai huts are situated in the middle of beach, so you can have lots of choices of eating. Would recommend to stay there.

I booked a Full Sea View room through Agoda from 22nd Jan. till 25th Jan. 2014. But when we reached there, we were offered the Half sea view room since all the three rooms were occupied. When I insisted that when I book through Agoda, I specifically booked and paid for the Full Sea View room but not a Half sea view room, they caretaker insisted that it's a full sea view room. How can it possibly be a Full sea view room, when half the sea is blocked by the three Full Seaview rooms. Do they think we are blind or what. Since I didn't want to ruin my vacation with my younger son, I did not protest much as we travelled all the way from few days at the mandrem beach.
My complain is both with the Agoda and the Om Sai owners, when you sell your room as Full Sea View, and I repeat FULL SEA VIEW ROOM, on a reputed travel site, whose is responsible for NOT HONOURING On your promise or whatever. Travellers should be wary of what they are buying and paying for, especially from travel sites like Agoda. Too bad, I have done previous two vacation booking from Agoda. But it's a let down this time. Only consolation is the quite beach and the location. There are plenty of places to eat near the church. The people at the shops are friendly and they don't overcharge on MRP. Unlike in palolem beach market.

We came here on a friends recommendation - they had told us how awesome Nilish was and what an amazing place to stay Om Sai was - and they were right. Nilish is fantastic - so helpful. The little huts are great and the location is perfect. We hadn't booked in advance, so when our hut wasn't free anymore, Nilish went out of his way to help us find another place to stay. The huts are a bit pricey, but comfy and clean. The pillows were awesome, as was the mattress (important in India - when it's often hard as a rock!) We would both recommend Om Sai to anyone coming to Agonda.

Thank you Nilish for a great stay!

Room Tip: Try and get a hut at the front, so you have a view of the beach!

Booked here because of tripadvisor but I usually only believe 50% of reviews ..... However this is exactly what other reviewers state.... certainly not 5 star, good size rooms, basic, clean, ensuite, hot water, on the beach & yeahhhh hammocks. An amazingly helpful young man, professional, experienced & on site 24/7 Neil (manager) just helps everyone achieve their holiday goal.
I arrived as a couple then 5 days later decided I was with the wrong holiday companion so ditched him & am now in my own hut at a good price ...... Can't imagine any other place being so helpful or understanding and making the new arrangement so swiftly, smoothly & no embarrassing fuss..... As a single woman I have no worries about being on my own I feel completely & utterly 100% safe no hassle from leeches etc ...... I'm definitely returning hopefully with a decent bloke next time lol

We stayed here for 12 nights and had a lovely time.
The location is great, right next to St Anne's Church which is in the middle of the beach, so you're in easy reach of all the beach bars and restaurants as well as the village centre. Being next to the church also meant the stretch of beach outside the huts was quieter than other parts of the beach, great for those who enjoy a bit of calm whilst sunbathing.
The huts are basic but the price reflects this. They aren't luxury but they're clean and comfortable. I do agree with the below review, wardrobes and/or shelves would be a good idea, but other than that we had no problems. It's safe to say the furnishings aren't brand new and could be described as a little tired, but this is India and you're paying next to nothing for a beach front hut! There are plenty of luxury options in Agonda but you'll pay 3/4x the cost of OmSai. Be realistic with your expectations and you'll enjoy it. The photos of the huts on the website will give you a good enough indication of whether OmSai is for you.
Nilesh who manages the huts is a lovely guy, keen to keep guests happy and always around if you need anything. He's able to arrange trips & taxis for good prices and he's a nice guy to chat to. The owner of the huts should be made aware that Nilesh is a real asset to this establishment!
Green Valley restaurant opposite is not affiliated with the huts but it's perfect for grabbing breakfast, lunch and daytime drinks. They have wifi which can be accessed from the OmSai huts. We chose to venture out for dinner and can recommend Simrose, Dunhill, Dolce Vita, Madhu & Agonda White Sands - all delicious and within walking distance.
Thanks for a great 12 nights Nilesh, we hope to return next year!

Pros- Great location on the beach, lovely shaded area constructed at the front to allow comfortable sitting outside without burning, terrific views from the front balcony, attentive and friendly Manager Nilesh, central location.

Cons- No shelves or a wardrobe to store clothing, 2 small single blankets on the double bed (gets cold in the early hours), no cleaning done other than occasional sweep of room, worn dirty old sink, and functional but tired shower, French Hippy camp adjacent with vicious dogs .

Having stopped at a more expensive beach hut last year, it is clear that a small amount of investment and attention to detail, such as bed linen, towels, storage, clean bathroom etc. could turn Om Sai in to the number 1 mid-range beach hut establishment in Agonda.

Overall we had a fantastic holiday and were fantastically looked after by Nilesh.

Room Tip: Beach front rooms have the best view, the middle one avoids the hippy encampment and the noisy resta...

Great location, beautiful place, peacefull. But people should be aware of that these beach huts like most of them st Agonds beach are really simple accomodation, beads are simply, blankets were provided, no hot water etc. However if you are happy with that, this is a great place
