“Could not be faulted!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2012

My boyfriend and I went with another couple who'd been before and recommended it. We sat down and were given menus from which we selected our side salads and drinks. In regards to the side salads, you could pick as many as you want and they weren't skimpy either. Each salad had exotic ingredients and tasted fantastic! There was a huge selection. They brought out a large variety of meats and also chicken and fish which had a distinct smoky flavour that tasted fantastic. All the meats were succulent, juicy and well-seasoned. They were brought out very frequently so you were rarely left with an empty plate. The cinnamon and sugared pineapple they bring out at the end was sensational. We could not get enough of it! It was absolutely delicious and the waiters had no problem bringing us back more and more. They definitely weren't stingy on anything and this made the $42 price per head very reasonable.

The staff were always happy (dancing along to the live Brazilian band) and more than willing to attend to your needs and bring you as much food as you desired.

The alcohol was on the more expensive side but that's to be expected when you dine out.

I would definitely go back there again and recommend it to others. :)

“All you can eat of the tastiest meats”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012 via mobile

Never disappointed by this place.

At $42 per person (even for non meat eaters) it's on the pricey end of churascaras but well worth it for the quality.

Highly recommend it.

“Barbecue buffet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012 via mobile

I have eaten in the darling harbour one 3x now. It varies how much food/what you are offered in terms of the meat. You can order many sides as you like for set menu price. You are given a little thing which has red/Amber/green to indicate if you want more meat. On 3rd occasion, I was very Ill with an allergic reaction so wouldn't eat there again. I had told them my allergy and was given a list of what I could not have and showed it to each waiter but some of them had poor English so perhaps made a mistake.

“Viva Braza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2012

Went here on a busy Wednesday night - a bit of a mix-up with the booking, I had rung 2 days beforehand but no booking was recorded. The guy at the front desk said not to worry he would see what he could do. The restaurant was quite full with large bookings but we were given a nice table with very comfortable chairs in the centre of the restaurant.

The cost for food only is $42 a head. Potato salad, polenta wedges & cassava wedges, rocket salad, mixed salad were given as sides. If you wanted more you just had to ask. The wait staff come to your table with the meats on skewers and carve pieces for you at the table - they carve, you use the small tongs to take the meat. The roasted meats on skewers kept coming and were so delicious, so much variety. The males at the table really liked all the different red meats and whilst I did too, the chicken was so tasty, whatever marinade they had used it was sooo nice. There were prawns too. To finish off there are whole pineapples with cinnamon and sugar on skewers carved off for you at your table which were very refreshing.

We had some Brazilian beer and wine which was fairly good but maybe next time I might opt for Australian wine although the boys liked the Brazilian beer. The wine and beer prices are reasonable too. Next time I go there maybe I won't eat meat as a main meal for at least 1-2 days beforehand but maybe that's just a girl thing :-)

“Delicious!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2011 via mobile

Beautifully barbecued meats (and haloumi cheese, good selection of typical Brasilian sides and friendly service.

The only thing I'd like changed about this busy eatery is the decor-- it's dated and would do well to brighten up the place with mirrors and brighter colours. Otherwise cannot fault the place!
