We stayed here booking on the off chance for 1 night in early April. The cost was £60 per night for a double room which had a toilet and shower room. We think this was a bit expensive but maybe if we haggled it might have been cheaper. We received a warm welcome. The bedroom was a little small but very cosy and Greek in style It was clean. A real bonus after a day our walking was a plentiful supply of very hot water.
Breakfast was on the roof terrace behind the pansion but it gave us great views and there was plenty of fresh produce on the breakfast table to enjoy.
There is car parking but it is about 100 metres away and there is a slight climb which could be a problem for people who have mobility problems. The proprietor did offer to collect our cases so do ask for help if you need it.
Sirince is a charming village with a Greek heritage rather than Turkish but it disappointed. We tried two wine bars and neither went out of there way to welcome us or provide us with good food. In fact in one place the food was poor.
The impression we got was that the village makes it money from the hordes of coaches that descend upon it and stay for a couple of hours. It seems that stall holders and restaurants are happy to make a quick sale and care less about those who have more time and want to savour the place.
If you are a keen walker there are various trails you can consider. I
n my view Selcurk nearby is a more interesting place to spend time in.
