We had previously booked 5 nights at the resort but decided to leave after 3 nights due to building work going on from 8am until 10pm: more villas are being added to the resort. The de luxe rooms are not so luxurious: the outside looks better than the inside. However, the worst in Bahya Bakasyunan is certainly the food which is less than mediocre. We only had one evening meal and it was the worst of our 2 weeks in the Philippines. Overall, it felt than the place is run on a shoestring; the staff is nor friendly nor overly welcoming; the facilities advertised do not live up to their description: the gym is not air conditionned and the spa is a small hut!
