I am a frequent traveler and member of various hotel program. I have had some problems with the Carlson Club Website. When I arrived the hotel garage was closed without any advise and I had to park on a public parking place on my own spendings. The rooms are small and simple .. the bathrooms are okay. great breakfast but everything else is average

Dear Stephan K,
Thank you reviewing our hotel. We appreciate that you spend time on helping future travellers this way.
I apologize that our garage was fully booked and you were advise to park in the underground parking just behind the hotel. Still, this parking is monitored and closed overnight and therefore not an insecure solution, though more inconvenient.
Our best advise to our guests, is to prebook parking in our garage.
Apart from this, we are pleased to hear that you were satisfied with your stay. We hope to see you back the next time you visit Copenhagen.
Many kind regards

This hotel is very convenient to Copenhagen Business School and the subway and the rooms are reasonably comfortable and clean. But the rooms could use more comfortable beds and east-facing rooms, in particular, can get a fair amount of street noise.

I'm an American who was staying in Copenhagen for a scientific conference. My booking agency made a somewhat last-minute reservation for me at the Blu Falconer. The reception staff were cordial, very friendly, and helpful at check-in, with some credit card related questions, and other inquiries. I had previously stayed at the Scandic Copenhagen, and I found the level of service at Blu Falconer comparable for what is a MUCH more reasonably priced hotel. While some people have complained about the room size for the standard suites, hotel rooms in Europe are generally somewhat to much smaller. I really liked the coziness. There's enough room for a family to put away their luggage, sleep, and generally use the hotel room as a place to hang out at the end of a long day. Granted, one will need to live out of their luggage, but I have yet to find a hotel in Europe that has the monstrous chest-of-drawers typical in an American hotel. I think it encourages people to get out of the hotel and actually experience the city. The bathroom is very European, meaning that the shower is basically a gently recessed corner of the bathroom separated by a shower curtain. I had no problem with this at all. Some Americans accustomed to a bathtub/shower combination, glass-enclosed sanctuary, or anything with a lot of space are given fair warning. It suited me just fine, honestly. The absolute best thing about this hotel is the location. You are literally a 2 minute walk from the Fredricksburg Metro stop. There's also a Halifax nearby (i.e., fantastic burger place), decent kebob places, higher minded Italian fare for richer people than me, and some pubs. My only complaints were an air conditioning/heating unit that did not seem to work, and flat sheets not being put on the beds. I am not a comforter guy, as I get overheated easily. Really, if you want to save cash but stay at an actual hotel instead of a hotel, the Blu Falconer is probably your best bet.

Dear Auriel W,
Thank you for your positive feedback.
I am pleased that our staff took care of you. We receive lots of positive comments regarding the friendless of our staff and it’s always nice to hear positive feedback from our guests.
I hope that we can welcome you back again to The Radisson Blu Falconer Hotel in the near future.

The hotel is located at a commercial district of the city with a very suitable access to metro station, taxi stop and wide variety of shopping centers The room was really neat and convenient. Rooms are not air conditioned, but shouldn't be a problem in Copenhagen. Hotel will give you a fan upon request. The room amenities are relatively ok. except, you dont have coffee/tea utensils at room. I have experienced a lot of hotels in Copenhagen, comparing to my previous disappointing experiences with Copenhagen hotels, this one was quite satisfactory

Had a weekend in Copenhagen and choose this hotel due to a good rate and easy access to and from the airport. The hotel is old and need a refurbishment, however the location is good. The breakfast was ok - had it included in the rate. But there are several nice coffee shops where you can have a great breakfast (better than at the hotel)
The aircon does not work properly -thus remember to get a room high up and open the window if you are there in summer.
Some really good pizza places down the Falconer Alle.
Also a short walk to Nørrebro and the great Jægersborggade.

Room Tip: High floor

Stayed here for a conference and upgraded to a business suite. The room was large but the bathroom was still European style -- small with stand-up shower. The carpet and tile were a bit worn but very clean. Staff were friendly and spoke English (as well as Danish, German, and some French, which I overheard). Breakfast buffet was very good -- lots of options including fabulous pastry. In terms of what this hotel is for, its closest to Fredericksberg sites including the park, mansion, Copenhagen Business School, and Carlsberg neighborhood. Its a long walk or metro to city center.

my staying at hotel Radisson Blu in Copenhagen was pleasant. The hotel is well connected, close to the Tube. The room was on the 11th floor and in front of the personnel elevator, that luckily during the night was not in use. The room was clean and had all comforts, also the breakfast was quite good, well assorted, I recommend this hotel for staying in Copenhagen
