We were on our way from Budapest to Prague and stayed on the off-chance at Hotel Dukla for a night's rest. They are currently rennovating their rooms which come with a higher price-tag, but if you take one of their communist-era rooms you won't be disappointed. Really comfortable, oodles of hot water, great beds, and clean, clean, clean, clean! The hotel restaurant is excellent. The food is top-notch. I had pork chop with potato salad and I am a potato salad connoiseur, and this food was amazing. Internet reception is not good in the rooms, but excellent in the lobby, where you can hang out on sofas and buy drinks. They make you feel really welcome here. Plus there's reserved parking at one of the cheapest rates in the Czech Republic that I've ever seen. Maybe you're just passing through or Znojmo or somewhere close by is your destination. This is one of the best hotels for the price you'll find in this area. Don't miss out.
