“A good choice in Chapel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

We went here twice for an evening meal.
It has the advantage of being one of the very few eateries in Chapel that are open on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
On each occasion we had a different selection of tapas (so we've tried 10 in all).
They were all tasty, served piping hot and without a long wait. Recommended.

“Great dining space, real ales and excellent choice of Tapas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Good choice of quality Tapas's food with plenty of space to dine in the restaurant upstairs.

If you like real ale (not often available in restaurants), this had a choice of two decent beers (so that takes the overall food/beer/wine rating to 5 for me).

Friendly obliging staff (demo'd a 'free' space invader machine in the bar downstairs after our meal) and reasonable prices.

“Fantastic Food and Superb Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Rems is local to us and we quite often eat here. Cannot recommend the food enough. The portions of tapas are much bigger than any we have eaten elsewhere. The Sunday afternoon special menu is fantastic value. Gareth is a great host, he always has time to discuss the food with you, nothing is too much trouble and the staff are very nice. The cajun chicken is fab and also the garlic mushrooms and the prawn tapas are to die for! We have never once been disappointed with any meal here. The wine is also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be eating here again soon and will keep on recommending. Got to be the best value in the Peak District.
