“10/10 - An example to other B&Bs!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2011

We stayed at this B&B while house-hunting in the area, and it took a huge amount of stress out of the experience. After trouble with our car we had to postpone our trip at the very last minute, and arrived the next day. Noreen was more than accomodating, friendly and helpful, and even upgraded us to the King Size Room.
The room was beautiful and relaxing - really large with everything you'd expect, immaculately clean, and very homely. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and much better quality than many B&Bs offer - excellent shower! Lovely view up to the hills. Bed was so comfortable, and the linen very clean and perfectly pressed. It was just what we needed at such a stressful time!
Breakfast was heavenly - definitely one of the best we've had! Yummy Full English or any parts of, cooked perfectly, with fruit, cereals and juices available too. The dining room was a lovely room to eat in - once again spotlessly clean, fresh, and tastefully decorated.
There's ample parking at the front of the house, the centre of Chapel is just a stroll up the road, and of course you're perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful High Peak area. Plenty of choice locally for our evening meal - there is an excellent selection of local info available in the room and having browsed this we took a trip to the local Chinese restaurant.
Eric and Noreen took the time to have a chat with us and shared their knowledge of the area - lovely, friendly people who have got running a B&B 100% right. Only signed up to TripAdvisor to leave this review as we were so very impressed compared to all the other B&B's we've stayed in over the years - many thanks and well done to Eric and Noreen!
