“What a gorgeous place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Michael, we knew that we had booked the right place. It was everything we wanted, quaint, clean, friendly and a nice location!! The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the pool was clean and just the right temperature! We loved the fact there was a happy hour on cocktails and the cosmopolitans were delicious! It was nice to have breakfast provided so we did not have to treck to find somewhere and nothing was too much for Michael and Theo, the entertaining, friendly brothers who run the place! Their father owned the mini mart next door and was also really friendly and helpful! Will definately recommend this to anyone I know who wants to go to Mykonos and will definately go back there when we stay again!

It's all precise about the brothers who run Bellissimo - Michael and Theo are very helpful and very hands on. They run a fabulous restaurant - thanks to thier chef who has apparently been there for many years. The rooms are great as is the pool and bar. The area is so much quieter than other parts of the island (important to me as Mykonos downtown can be mad!!) and is a cul-de-sac. The local pay-for-sun-lounges beach is beautiful - and even, more so, the 'free' beach which actually has little waves. They also run a little shop next door which is so convenient. The local bus into town etc stops at the front door every one hour. The bus driver is fun fun fun!

Room Tip: Not the one in the corner with no courtyard!

Three girls, late 20's went to Mykonos for a relaxing, sun-filled week in June. Bellissimo was the ideal place to stay. The family-run hotel was far nicer than expected as we got a really good deal. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff could not have been more friendly, the pool a pleasure to hang out at, restaurant and food was most enjoyable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and just enough to start your day. The hotel was a 10 minute drive from Mykonos town but the bus runs regularly and a taxi late at night not very expensive. It's a quite location but we were early in the season but I thought it was perfect. Relax by day, hit the town at night or if not have a quiet dinner and early night. Best of all worlds! Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Seaview is great but poolside is very useful if you're planning to hang out there alot!

Picked up at the port by Michael the gentleman, handed two bottles of water! Given a complete intro to the island en route to hotel and in hotel! Spacious comfortable rooms with lovely bathroom facilities. Frequent bus service to mykonos from door of hotel, 3 minute walk to a wonderful beach or chill at the beautiful pool area of the hotel! Had food in restaurant of hotel it was wonderful and considerably cheaper than local restaurants and those in town! Only wish we had stayed longer!

Rooms are quite new, spacious and appointed in island-style ie basic, but spotlessly clean and with unexpected touches like makeup remover wipes and cotton buds provided in the bathroom. Rooms are set around the pool. Upstairs rooms have views of the sea. Breakfast is a simple buffet - again, island style, don't expect an expansive spread. Buses to/from the main town run frequently and stop right outside the complex.

We stayed 14 nights (with a 3 day trip to Santorini in between). The room was large and clean with a modern shower. Fresh towels were provided every day and separate pool / beach towels were also available daily. The in room fridge was handy to store water, wine etc. and the terrace an ideal place to drink it as the sunset over the the hill. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The bus into town stopped right outside the mini-market next door and takes just 10 mins (€1.60 each way) and whilst the last bus back was 11.30pm a taxi was only €8.00. We hired a scooter and toured the whole island, but on several days just opted to use the main beach nearby which is as good as any we saw and was just a 5 minute walk away. Brothers - Michael and Theo were excellent hosts and could not have been more obliging, nothing was too much trouble - including transfers to and from the airport and even an unexpected celebratory cake and bottle of wine! There are three restaurants in the area and when we ate locally we preferred Bellissimo and Hippie Fish on the beach front. For a quiet and relaxing place to stay (that is still close enough to the action if you want it) I'd recommend Bellissimo.

Great pool area and nice big rooms. We were upgraded to the sea view room upon arrival. The two brothers who run the place are extremely nice and helpful. They also run the place in a highly professional manner!
