“Faultless!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

We stayed four nights in this wonderful hotel and found the experience faultless! From the greeting by the wonderfully attentive staff, to the token gifts at each night's turndown service, the whole stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The room we had, (333), was in the perfect position, up high, looking over the water where we enjoyed incredible sunsets on our balcony each night! The beach area was well looked after, towels and swim goggles for guests to use and the beautiful pool area was spotlessly clean.
We ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was excellent. Breakfast in the same area each morning was first class. My wife utilised the spa section for a manicure and polish and found the staff friendly and the service first rate. The complimentary shuttle bus into town each night is an excellent service as well. Friendly, attentive staff, good toiletries in the room, a comfortable bed and a beautiful view, what more could you ask for!

Room Tip: Up high on the hill affords a great view, but any room I'm sure would be fine!

The VIP check in process was seamless and Georgia at the front desk and who speaks like 6 languages fluently was FLAWLESS. We were treated like royalty. I know we weren't the only ones. Everyone from the front desk, the spa crew, the shuttle bus driver, the housekeepers were exceptionally professional and so courteous. Our European honeymoon consisted of all 5 star hotels in Santorini, Rome and Milan but this hotel far exceeded all of our expectations.

Room Tip: Our room was a seaview room and the view was absolutely breathtaking. We were in room 124.

After visiting on Santorini we moved out to Mykonos Grand.
We spent 4 nights in Twin Room with garden view (No:205 ) located on the ground floor.
Room is spacious and tastefully decorated. It opens up to a small patio with chairs. After arriving to the room we were welcomed with a greek traditional snack and a bottle of greek aperitif. Every evening we got gadget for example:solar calculator or waterproof purse .
Althought hotel is located a little far from old town the shuttle free service is very convinient. We took it every night because we were eating out of hotel .
Bufet breakfast choices is average . Food in the pool restaurant -ok,not so bad .
Staff is proffesional , helpfull and very friendly (sometimes too much ).
Overall the ambience of the hotel is nice and hotel is very clean.
There is a wide private beach , the pool area is probably the best on Mykonos.
We could come back here again and recomend it

We stayed three nights at this attractive resort. Our entry, via the hotel's complimentary shuttle, was at a steeply graded, narrow drive.  Upon entering the resort's lobby, the young women behind the desk were very gracious in greeting us.  Check-in was efficient, and one of the staff took us for a brief tour and thoroughly explained to us the facility's many features.  The resort is built on many levels and built into a hillside.  This allows striking views of the Aegean as well as the island of Delos. A nice pool with poolside restaurant and a beach at the lowest level are a part of this experience.
We ate at the hotel's restaurant our first night here.  I had lamb; my wife had grouper.  Both dishes were  first rate. We paired both with local table wines, which were both fine. One gripe- the restaurant was too dimly lit.  We needed reading lights to read the menus!  This restaurant has a great water view- one which is better appreciated in the morning, during breakfast.  That breakfast buffet is among the best I've ever experienced.  It has everything- including the world-renown thick Greek Yogurt, here served from a large bowl. Add fruit and preserves and you have a delightful, healthy breakfast side.
Upon turndown service, The hospitality staff delivered to us "gifts". Coffee cups.  They're nice.
We continued to have dinner at their restaurant. The second night I had a wonderful sea bass over mushrooms and shrimp dish. Service had been cordial and friendly, but a tad slow. Whatever- we were in no rush here.  We did find the prices in this restaurant- and Mykonos in general- to be expensive.
Our room was spacious and had marble tile floors throughout.  It had a balcony with an unobstructed view of the Aegean.  Two comfortable chairs and a table were provided so we could toast the sunsets and the evening stars, with their complimentary Mastich liqueur.
Overall this stay was memorable for many reasons.

We booked this hotel for nothing more than total relaxation. That is exactly what we got. The staff go out of there way to accommodate your every need. The food is excellent, and the rooms are clean and bright. A couple of criticisms, a lot of the sun beds could do with replacing, as could the covers, and one or two bits could do with a clean and paint, but it is getting near the end of the season and I imagine this will be taken care of then. Overall first class.

It can be risky going back to a favourite hotel in case standards have slipped. This is very much not the case with Mykonos Grand. From the incredibly warm welcome onwards the whole week was once again something very special. Although the season is drawing to a close the hotel remains immaculate, the pool still sparkles and the staff, who work so hard they must be exhausted, still manage an enthusiasm and friendly charm which is unparalleled in our experience.
Having a sea view is a must. The sunsets are amazing, but also stunning is the early morning view as the sky changes colour over Delos.
During our week we ate at the hotel three times, by the beach in Ornos a couple of times, and had two superb meals at M-eating in Mykonos, all places we would be happy to recommend. We also found September a very good time to visit- temperatures around 25c with a pleasant breeze, so very comfortable. we will certainly be going back-soon!

We just returned for a lovely four nights a the Mykonos Grand following a Seabourn Cruise. WOW on both counts! While I think there are prettier islands than Mykonos, the hotel was first-rate: immaculate grounds, great pool, fantastic buffet breakfast. The staff was super-accommodating and helped with transportation (which is inconvenient to say the least due to the limited number of taxis on the island). Skip the beach on the property--too small and rocky, but be sure to visit the two lovely tavernas next door.
Our room had great views, but was strangely designed--toilet in one room right next to the door, shower in another room next to that and sinks in yet a third room next to that. Hmmmmmmm. Because the hotel is built on a hill, there is a good amount of walking/stairs/elevators to get from point A to point B, so I would not suggest this for those with mobility issues.
All said, a great stay!

Room Tip: The "lower" you are, the closer to the beach, pool and restaurant.
