Stayed for 4 nights in August 2011. Hotel staff was very pleasant- we arrived a bit early and were offered a complimentary drink at the bar while the staff finished arranging the room. The staff was very accommodating throughout our stay, arranging for a rental car, providing dinner recommendations, etc.
The beach is less than 5 min away. Not all the rooms have ocean views, but the view of the mountains is impressive as well.

Although the location of Agios Prokopios is absolutely fantastic, the hotel is situated a long way from the beach (you need a car) and there has also no view to the sea. The swimming pools are ok, not something to be excited of. The room was spacious but not convenient at all. We had a tiny balcony which was not cleaned for the whole week we stayed. The bathroom, although spacious enough, had no furniture to put your things on and had no hangars for the towels. The breakfast was ok but it stayed the same for the whole week, with poor variety of local products. The staff was very kind but the lack of professionalism was obvious.

Staff was very friendly, restaurant food was very tasty using fresh produce from Naxos and the fresh squeezed orange juice every morning was heavenly. After touring the island on ATVs we spent many late afternoons lounging around the pool with bar service. Wonderful. We had room #50 with a separate sitting area plus two sun decks, very nice. For our 25th anniversary the hotel gave us a bottle of champagne with tray of fresh strawberries and cherries, this was a special touch.

Arrived at hotel to find it almost abandoned due to lack of tourism. The room I had booked was disappointing. The staff (Nancy) called the manager Vasilli and between them totally disused my disappointment and turned it into a marvelous experience. They offered a change of rooms and we settled for two rooms that were perfect for our stay. The staff of four were so accommodating catering to our every need. The entire property was spotless and extremely well cared for. The food was fresh from garden to table and very well prepared. The breakfast buffet was extensive. The pools were beautiful. The hotel does have obstructed sea views and is a 5-6 minute walk to the beaches which are shelly, but long and beautiful. The water is clear and makes for wonderful swimming. All in all we had a great experience.

Room Tip: This small hotel has numerous types and combinations of rooms. Road side rooms were larger, but cou...

Just back from a stay at the Lagos Mare hotel and have to say that the staff were very freindly and helpful each day. The rooms were very well maintained and cleaned 2 times a day. 3 lovely pools to just sit back and relax at, all tho since the beatiful beaches of naxos were only a 10 min walk (Max) we only may use of the pools on one occasion. The hotel had a lovley fresh airy feel to it and breakfast by the pool set the day up nicely, with freshly squezed Orange juice made on demand each morning for us. The hotel has quite, but i think that it was just the time of year. We only ate dinner in the hotel one night, it was ok and a little over priced also considering that only 5 rooms were been used they should offer a fresh breakfast and not have a buffet sitting out all morning in the heat. I would recommend using any one of the many other places in the area to eat, with are cheaper and other a better selection. That said it would not put me off staying in the hotel again, great location, great service. One thing that the hotel should consider is offering a shuttle service to the ferry port and also to Naxos town, they have a mini bus parked outside. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea view.

The room looked tidy at the first image. But when u lied down, u found skin itch. And the swimming pool was terrible...I saw lots of dead insect floating with water. The hot water in the bathroom was not stable. It was hot and suddenly became cold and then hot again. However the food is really nice, which is probably the only good point of this hotel
