“Tranquility on the Party Island”

Mykonos Grace

Jul 21, 2008

The Grace is a jewel on the party Island of Mykonos. It allow guest to relax, energise and prepare for the varied nightlife the Island has to offer in simple, unpretentious luxury.

Rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. Staff are attentive but give guests space to relax. They are young and enthusiastic, polite, friendly and efficient.

The pool area is magical both during the day and in the evening. You can escape the sun in the library, which is just like returning home to your own drawing room (but with a great view!)

We stayed at the Myknonos Grace for three nights from July 6-9th. Although we weren't honeymooners my husband booked the honeymoon suite. The room was exquisite and had a jacuzzi upstairs. The hotel was excellent. It was chic and the staff would bend over backwards to accomodate us. We were greeted with a stocked bar that was over the top. Our jacuzzi overlooked the Aegean Sea. The breakfast was great. Healthy food choices from the menu as well as a lush offering at the buffet. The wait staff was very attentive. The pool was relaxing with available bar and food service all day. Another plus with this hotel was the van service into town with a return pickup whenever you needed it.. The van driver was courteous and completely reliable. A major plus on an island with only 31 taxis (so we were told). We did have a car but didn't want to deal with driiving into town at night. Also, there was a nice lobby with two laptop computers that were always available. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the second taverna across the street on the beach. We went two days for lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere. This is a first rate choice if traveling to Myknonos.

“Swanky Mykonos Grace far exceeded expectations”

Mykonos was the last stop on a Greek Island-hopping trip my now-fiancee and I took. We stayed at the Grace's "sister hotel" (we think they are run by the same management company) on Santorini (Ikies Traditional Houses), and were referred to the Grace when we booked our room on Santorini. The Grace's Web site, of course, looks amazing, and the hotel MORE than lived up to our expectations!

The Grace provides FREE van transport to and from the port and/or airport, which is a nice luxury. We were promptly greeted when we landed on Mykonos and immediately taken back to the hotel, along with three other guests. The bellhop took care of our luggage, and we were given an extensive tour of the hotel, which ended in our room. When we arrived in our room, we pleasantly--to say the least!--were surprised to learn that the "VIP" suite we had booked for our final night was ours for our ENTIRE stay, and at no extra charge! We were blown away and absolutely estatic!

Sidenote: We think, possibly, that our hotel on Santorini had something to do with this. It just so happens that Eleni, who works at Ikies on Santorini, has a sister who works at the Grace. AND we got engaged our last night at Ikies. Funny coincidence?!

The "VIP" suite was ridiculously chic and plush. The king-size bed was just so comfy and snuggly, it made me want to get one of those Cocomat mattresses for my own house! The bed looked directly onto the private terrace, which faced the sea. With the private terrace came a private spa, a double-bed lounger, bistro table and chairs, and a private ELEVATOR! Wow! And that was only the beginning. The bathroom was definitely one of the biggest I have seen in a hotel, and the shower was the size of a real steam room. Which by the way, you could do in the shower, too!

Outside of the accommodations, the staff was amazingly helpful and terribly friendly. They were more than willing to recommend restaurants (from affordable to pricey), give out detailed directions through town, book rental cars, book excursions, call taxis, and even let us use the driver and van to and from Mykonos Town when he was available. SUPERB!

Champagne breakfast was served at the restaurant by the pool every morning. A continental breakfast was set up, which in itself was fantastic. Fruits, nuts, deli meats, cheeses, pastries, yougurt, fresh-squeezed orange juice etc. BUT, you could also order from an additional menu--at no extra charge. From there you could get pancakes, souffles, eggs, omlettes, additional pastries, etc. Those were probably some of my favorite meals!

We were on Mykonos during the low-/mid-season, so the hotel was not crowded and the weather was really quite pleasant. However, Mykonos Town got crazy and super-crowded over the weekend, so I cannot imagine being there during the high season! It was really a nice, quiet, zen-like atmosphere throughout the hotel during our stay. I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel, it's staff and our stay there. It went above and beyond anything we expected and even hoped for. If I ever return to Mykonos, this will definitely be my hotel choice again!

  • This TripAdvisor Member:
    • Liked — We were upgraded from a standard room to the VIP suite--VERY generous!
    • Disliked — The cocktails and "pool" food was quite pricey, and you don't really get all that much.

“Amazing honeymoon at Mykonos Grace”

Mykonos Grace

I can't rave enough about this hotel. I was there for 3 nights for my honeymoon before going off to Santorini, and I didn't want to leave!! They upgraded us to a superior suite, which was wonderful...we had our own plunge pool on the balcony, which overlooked the sea, huge room (biggest hotel bathroom i've ever seen!).

The staff is quite simply the best. Even before I arrived at the hotel, they would be so helpful over e-mail and arranged for our ferry tickets to Santorini, which were waiting when we checked in. They went out of their way to help us in any way possible, but it was the attitude that really won us over...they really acted HAPPY and pleased to do things for guests! The first thing when we got there they were asking how the wedding was and made us feel so welcome. Choc covered strawberries, a hand written note and a bottle of prosecco were waiting for us.

The breakfast was awesome, wonderful pool, the internet lounge was a nice touch too so we could check to see if our wedding photos were online yet :)

Also the hotel van was great - if you tell them when you need to go to town, they'll have the driver take you there so you dont need to worry about taking the bus, and theyll come pick you up in town up til 3 am (although it is a short walk to the bus stop, they only run til midnight and cabs are impossible).

The beach is a short walk, and there's a great taverna right on the beach, reasonably priced too.

Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat! (although i probably couldnt afford to stay in the superior suite on my own, lol)

Just got back from an excellent week in staying in the Mykonos Grace hotel . The hotel itself is exactly how you imagine it from the website. The rooms are minimal and stylish, the staff are friendly and helpful and the over all atmosphere is luxurious and relaxing. I have stayed in Mykonos a few times and this hotel is by far the best out of all of my past experiences on the island. I hope they can keep this standard up as I'm sure this place is going to be very busy as the word spreads .
