They opened in 2012 and I have eaten there maybe a half a dozen times. The food is authentic Cuban food, no gimmicks, no fancy sauces, no changes to the recipes! They serve huge portions of food and prices that can't be beat!! Their prices are in Cuban pesos (not CUC), but can give you change in CUC. But you can eat a full meal and a beer for less than $5! The place is beautiful Cuban country style. Located on the rooftop of a home overlooking the main park/plaza of a cute little town. It is across from an old train station and less than 5 minutes to the Autopista Nacional. Very friendly staff. Has music videos and sometimes live music. Its a place where you can mix with the locals.
