“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012 via mobile

Went for lunch with family including 2 kids under 10. Bit of a rainy day so had lunch upstairs - we had booked a table in advance which is recommended. Bit cold out and there where heaters on the deck and cute blankets for those feeling the miserable weather. Food was great. Mains were amazing (we had the pork belly and the snapper). Coffee and cake were perfect - kids loved the hot chocolates with extra marshmallows. Great cidar - bought home a six pack. Venue is great for kids - they can wonder about and you can keep an eye on them. They loved Sally the resident hound! You pay as you order - which is great for separate bills. Will definitely go back!

The food is amazing (especially the pork belly, arancini and snapper); the surroundings were amazing and the staff were friendly.
Loved the spare blankets for cold days, cant wait to get back there.

“Great food, great location, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

We enjoyed another very pleasant lunch in the hills last weekend. Overlooking the orchard and the jarrah forest, Core has an undercover restaurant with an outdoor area below. Very pleasant location, great food (choice of quite filling tasting plates or hot meal of the day - both were good), great wine (local). Plus of course, great cider. On tap or by the bottle, Core had a variety of tastes to suit every palette.

We arrived later in the day, without a booking, and the staff were quick to find us a table. We were accidently delivered a cheese platter, and when we pointed this out, the manager insisted that we should have it for free. Put us all in a good mood from the start.

A wonderful way to spend a weekend lunch!

Stopped in for some lunch and a couple of drinks. Shared a platter, was very nice. Staff are very friendly, providing rugs and heater to keep us warm. Cider is excellent.
