The view of Fatehpur Sikri's valley is incredible from this place which is close to Fatehper's famous Palace in ruins. The rooms are decent, quiet and pleasant. Mine had walls that need a paint job. It may very well be the best choice in Fetephur for a place to stay for a low price! Negotiate the room price if you stay 3+ days as they may give a discount. The older son can escort you by motorcycle to places of interest as a favor or for a tip. The younger son also can be a guide. The food though was mediocre because the owner has his 12 year old son do the cooking. The owner (Mohammad Aslam I believe) and his 2 sons there are very friendly yet they all are real hustlers with their crafts if you show an interest in buying them. Don't buy marble from them. The owner and his teenage son give different inflated prices. It is also brittle. After much haggling they gave me a discount on a White marble plate I bought only to double the price on other marble crafts. The owner claims to be a professional packer but 2 plates he packed for my shipment arrived in pieces at my home. It is a shame that my experience with the crafts I bought from them was bad after my stay with them was wonderful.
