“Great location, nice food spoilt by service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

You would struggle to find a better location but that is not everything! We decided to have a quick lunch before departing for the airport. It was early so restaurant was quiet but still had to wait for a table, lots of staff rushing around looking busy doing everything but take our order. Eventually grabbed hold of someone passing by and food was delivered quickly. Pizza and pasta were both very good but sat a while before plates were cleared, had to chase the bill to get on our way.

“Very slow service, food was average at best, although many people recommended the pizzas”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

Heard great reports, read good and better views but waiting 20 minutes or more at the table before being asked about drinks in a less than half full restaurant is frankly unacceptable in this current economic crisis. We asked several times about giving our order before someone eventually came. The food took even longer to arrive so thank goodness we didn't order starters. A waiter blaming the chef for slow cooking is not very professional either. The meat dish, two of us had, was barely warm when it finally arrived but the meat was tender and the sauce very tasty. The vegetables were a total waste of money, the quantity was pathetic for two people and they were decorative at best because they were over cooked to the point of mushiness. Considering the place was far from full we could not believe the the quality and service was so poor. We left feeling we had paid a lot for very little. We were told by someone else later that they only ever order pizzas when eating there and that they are fairly priced and always good. It's worth thinking about if you do decide to eat here! Hope you get a better night out than we did.

“Good food, good view and pleasantly modern”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

This restaurant is in contrast to the various other, rather traditional, restaurants at La Caleta having a much more modern feel. It is set slightly back from the sea but still with good views and has both covered and outdoor tables.

We were visiting with my wife's elderly father to whom the staff were very friendly and made a real effort to ensure he got what he was looking for.

The food took a little while to prepare but this isn't fast food and the wait was entirely in line with how long I'd expect preparation to order to take. The portions (particularly of the calimari) were generous and the flavours very good. We liked the docor and choice of music.

There is a small children's playground adjacent to the restaurant and this allowed families to keep their children entertained which we saw as a benefit rather than a problem.

Prices are not low but the food was good and we felt we'd had good value

“Fine Italian dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

We went here on a Friday night, the place was absolutely bustling, service was great, and best of all was the cooking which was at a truly gourmet level. It was a nice change from the "factory" type of dining one experiences in the main commercial resort area of Costa Adeje. I highly recommend a walk over to La Caleta for a meal as it still has a little bit of fishing village atmosphere, and several decent restaurants.
