“Birthday treat for 58year old”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Just got home from a wonderful day trip to see Dorset heavy Horses, FANTASTIC!!! The farm and all the animals and of course all the team of friendly people made this day so very special for us. Granted the weather was blue sky and lovely warm sunshine, but even if it had rained we would still have had a great time. Lots of interesting static displays to educate us and lots of humour and easy learning from Richard and his caring team. All the animals are obviously well cared for and take up a big space in each team member's heart, this shows through, through out the day. They are doing such great works, helping to re home, and heal where needed the lives of "dumb" animals. ( There is hardly any dumbness about the animals here), they are happy and free to show their own characters and just to be themselves, yet are also happy to work in a gentle way for their keep, if they are fit enough to manage, and happy just to be made a great fuss of by Richard and team and the folk who come to help feed and pet them. This is a place where any child, of any age, can meet and interact with love and care and learn so much about the animals whose blood lines have been tinkered with over the years to assist we humans, often to the detriment of the animals involved. Well worth the fee, especially as this helps to feed and treat the animals at the farm.

I booked the centre for my Daughters 8th birthday party. I was totally amazed by the amount they had to do. The kids had such a great time so did we! The food was superb and the staff were so attentive and made my daughters birthday so special and a day to remember highly recommended! Thanks to all the staff.

“A Grand Day Out in Dorset.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

22/6/2013 We looked for an entertaining/instructive day out for 2 grandchildren aged 4 and 5 over a camping w/e at nearby Holmsley. The website looked promising. The structured programme through the day was superb as we arrived at 11.00 and left at 4.15pm with the kids having had a great time and talking about it for days. Even grandma and grandad enjoyed it. Lunchtime in the cowboy themed cafe was plenty of good food at excellent value, with cleared plates. The bouncy castle used up any remaining energy.

We can well recommend this centre, and all in a good cause too. many thanks to the staff.

“A grand day out (said my daughter)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

We have been here several times over the last few years and have always found it to be a wonderful day out. Lots of opportunity to take part in many different activities, especially for our daughter who is always able to take part despite physical limitations. Helpful staff and a good mug of tea.
