We just recently reserved a non-serviced site at this campground. The Conservation area was beautiful and large and the camp sites were very well treed (we stayed on the 'Island' area for camping) and clean.
Byng also has a 2 acre sized pool that is monitored by lifeguards - great if you have children who love to swim! The grassy area surrounding the pool is dotted with pergola's which are great for providing shade as there aren't any trees in the pool section.
The only complaint I had was with the pricing of food at the concession stand (pool area) and the price they charge for fire wood. Pretty outrageous especially considering they frown on campers bringing in their own wood because of infestation issues.
Also, you aren't allowed to bring in anything except bottled water to the pool area. No snacks, juice, pop - nothing at all. Which is reallty annoying.
Other than that - I enjoyed the place a lot and plan on going back soon - but better prepared regarding firewood and buying food there!
