“Legzira Beach..... Southern Morocco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

This is a stunning out-of-the way place that takes a bit of getting to but worth the journey. The huge stunning red sandstone and rock arches carved out over milleniums are truly awesome and best seen at low tide when you can walk beneath them; also at near sunset when the light turns them a wonderful red colour. There are also local beach huts where surfers or other young people hang out scattered along the cliff bases. The access is not easy nor is there much in the in the way of facilities, but don't let that deter you... it is a unforgettable and I guess part of the magic.

“The Beach...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Legzira Beach is situated about 6 km north of Sidi Ifni, and 22 km to the south of Mirleft . Despite the difficulty of the access caused by the winding slope leading to a limited parking area, it was really worth visiting . Words fail to describe such a beautiful sight , and my first impression was that Mother Nature Is an unequalled inspired artist ..The sandy, sunny and endless beach that my eyes met was like a precious jewel , and the low tide revealed millions of colourful pebbles .The nearby mountains and the ocean meet in an eternal embrace, forming incredible, huge arches ...A magnificent sight indeed !

“Cool spot worth to stop by for maximum two hours on the way to Sidi Ifni”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

This is large and beautiful beach with several red rocky natural arch. For taking pictures lovers I do suggest evening time as the rocky cliff turn an intense red colour. it is truly stunnuing view, on top of that if you love ocean sounds and water massively splashing against the shore, this is the place for you, very romantic too.

Bear in mind from the main road to the beach you must walk way down quite long distance therefore It might be little bit challenging for those not get used to walk a lot.

You can get there by share taxi from Mirleft (which starts its journey in Tizni) which will costs you around 12 dirham, then the rest of trip to Sidi Ifni to hitchhike or continue by taxi. Sidi ifni is town from which CTM buses starts going to Marrakesh (5am, 11am, 6pm, 12:20 am)

“Beautiful,”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Great place to visit coming from SIdi Ifni. Lovely beach, gorgeous scenery- the hole in the rock- amazing. Lots of young international surfers, holiday makers and locals. A great experience- amazing to see the huts people live in dotted further along the beach. So cool.
