“Beautiful arches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

This is a really beautiful beach with several giant arches to the south. Check the tide schedule because you will not be able to go to all of them right around high tide. Especially nice to take photos just before sunset because the rocks are really red then, although you need a little luck for that with the tides. We started at Sidi Ifni and walked along the beach to Legzira. It's a long but nice walk and there are several nice big arches. However, we never figured out exactly where we were supposed to go up so we had some tough climbing up the cliffs in the end. So get clear directions before you set off on this walk and allow plenty of time.

“Al Gezira Plage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

It has these red rock arches -lots of them - to the south of the road down to the beach. You can walk through at least 4 of them when the tide is right. You can probably walk all the way to Sidi Ifni at low tide, otherwise you have to climb up the cliffs (not difficult) and bimble along through the hammada in company with sheep and goats until you come out on the main road opposite the new mosque. From there you can may get a grand taxi or even a bus back into town

“turtle man”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

Beautiful clean beach with some surprises, walk along far enough and you'll find Turtle man who lives on the beach in summer time and makes wonderful creations with beach debris, including a guitar like instrument made from a huge turtle shell..

An awesome beach with miles of sand. Big Atlantic rollers. A small village complex on the beach for food, coffee etc. We went surfing with IfniSurf. A superb day out !
