“Great wee place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012 via mobile

Myself and my wife have been going to Molly's for years and have never had a bad experience there.
Breakfast, lunch, evening meal are always spot on. Delicious food every time. The specials board always puts in a tricky position.......just never know what to choose!!!
The waiting team are great......new faces now, but all still hard working and attentive.
I'm seeing the rating as 10/15 for stonehaven - that doesn't make sense to me......it's a smashing wee place!!

“We're regular visitors here ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

This is a place we go a lot - either as a couple, with friends or en famille! It's often hard to get a table at weekends. Regularly changing specials menu makes it worth re-visiting, and as a vegetarian I am never disappointed with what's on offer for me. Others have already mentioned it, but the Cullen Skink is (according to Mr TravellingScot) one of the best! .

In the winter after a bracing walk along the beach pop in for a hot chocolate - delicious!

“A wonderland of delights.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

We took refuge in here because of the weather, just for a coffee, but we were seduced by the lovely cakes on offer and indulged so much we had to come back another day to try Aunty Betty's ice cream next door. After the dreich outdoors we were greeted with a blast of warmth and friendly staff, and the hot chocolate is to die for. This cafe should carry a government health warning for dieters with weak wills!

“Best Cullen Skink Tasted Anywhere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

On a beautiful Summer's day, what could be better than a stroll along the Stonehaven boardwalk and a visit to Molly's Cafe bar? This charming little place has a brilliant location on the shorefront with ample parking nearby. The welcome was warm and the service efficient and oh-so-friendly. And the best bit was the food. If you enjoy a bowl of Cullen Skink, then I doubt if you will get any better than Molly's version, served with a warm roll and butter. We have sampled Cullen Skink all over Scotland, including Cullen itself, and this is the best we have tasted anywhere! Give your taste-buds a treat and head on down to find out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

“Lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2012

Visited with four girlfriends, but once we got our food, really had to try hard to get any further service from the staff. Usual cafe stuff during the day, haven't eaten there in the evenings for a long time.
