One of the highlights of our trip to France was seeing the Pont du Gard. You can see it in pictures, but they don't do it justice. It is amazing that a part of it is still standing and in good condition after 2000 years!!! They have a lovely park like setting there and you can have a picnic, swim, sun in the area. It is unbeliebable how they could have build such a structure...and got those gigantic stones weighing literally tons, into place without mortar. This is a definite must see!
