Visited for lunch. The cafe has a nice outlook with a deck for when the weather is nice and sunny. I had the woodfired lamb with root vegetables & lentils in a red wine jus. Hubby had the Rustica pizza. Both were very tasty and the lamb was beautiful & soft, my dish having a nice rich flavour. Particularly liked the pesto on the pizza. Wine is nice - the Pinot Gris was my choice for the day. One criticism is that we were not informed of the specials - we weren't aware that there were any until we overheard one of the wait staff (young fella with dark hair) explaining the menu, good accompanying wines and the specials available (they sounded yum!). This was after we had already ordered with another waitress, who just gave us our menus and asked if we wanted any drinks, though she was friendly enough. My impression was that the table nearby received much better service from the other waiter. One suggestion I would have is that perhaps recommended accompanying wines be printed under the dishes, given that the cafe is run by a winery. I have seen this in other wineries and think it's a good addition to the menu. Overall, we enjoyed very much and we will be returning for sure.
