We stayed in a suite for 2 nights. We were visiting friends in Cabo Rojo so we were there for the proximity. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. There was a washer and dryer which was a nice perk. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We were on the fifth floor and had a lovely view from our balconies. The service was very good. Drawbacks...some sewer smell from drains in kitchen sink, no fan or window in bathrooms, and worn towels. We swam a little in the pool which was very nice, but the beach though close is very average, with lots of sand fleas...wear insect repellent.

Extremely courteous staff. Very nice location. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable.
I just had a wonderfully relaxing week there.
I would definitely stay here again.
Beach and Pobaldo were nearby and had private access.
I loved Christmas and the holiday season in PR!

The staff was very friendly and the food is excellent. the location is within walking distance to downtown boqueron and/or to the beach. The hotel has a private entrance to the beach.The town does close up early during the week but the hotel restaurant was always available for food. I have traveled to PR on several occasions and this hotel is the best. The restaurant staff heard about my good friends birthday and baked a cake for him. One day we were leaving early and the staff had breakfast ready to go at their opening time. We held a family reception in the reception building and the staff made fresh flan ( a puerto rican desert) This is the best value in this corner of the island and from November to February the beaches are almost empty and the water is warm.

This hotel is a hidden gem in an area where it’s hard to find a good, clean, staff customer friendly, safe, and moderately priced hotel.
We have stayed at other hotels in Boquerón over the past few years and this is by far is the best hotel in the Boquerón and Cobo Rojo area. Besides having a great location, the Boquerón Beach Resort has great staff with a very positive “cannot do enough for you attitude” sometimes hard to find at other hotels we have stayed in the Boquerón and Cobo Rojo area and even in San Juan at some of the chain hotels.
There were no surprises at Boquerón Beach Resort with our stay. This reflects well on the management at the hotel and is not always been the case with other hotels in the same area. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The view we had was a partial view but was very nice view of the ocean and park next to the hotel. Our room had a workable safe and the door had dead bolt and workable peep hole. The room had a real 4 cup coffee maker and was stocked with real Puerto Rican coffee. Our room had a clean workable refrigerator and micro wave. The beds were comfortable and the TV worked. The TV channels were provided by a local cable company but for non Spanish speakers had enough English speaking channels. We were surprised not to hear any noise from the other guest in our room.
There was free Wi-Fi in the lobby and in the elevator areas of the 1st and 3rd floors and it worked well.
The only issue was the day to day hotel up keep/maintenance. For example the fire door on the 3rd floor looked beat up and needed repaired and a few light fixtures on the exterior were broke and needed repaired
The pool area was cleaned and well maintained. Children were present and but had an area of their own with slides and other stuff to keep them busy and happy. Children didn’t dominate the pool area. One could sit around the pool and not get distracted by kids running all around the pool area disturbing all the guests.
The hotel security was excellent. Parking was safe inside a secure area with continuous surveillance. Security was always visible.
As previously stated, the front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Check-in was a little slow being a Friday evening when we arrived but the staff took time to explain everything about the hotel and answered all our questions. Another good reflection on the good people the hotel hired and quality hotel management.
We did not eat at the restaurant or look at the menu but restaurant looked inviting and clean and also had good hours. I believe it opened for breakfast at 7AM and closed at 10PM. The best place we found for typical Pusrto Rican breakfast and lunch was just up the street called the "Rice and Bean". Not fancy but great food at a good price.
The location of the resort is great. The walk to the Boquerón beach and shopping area was an easy 5 minute walk out the back gate of the hotel. We didn’t have to walk on the road to get to the beach and town area. The gate is secure gate for quest only and is very effective keeping out unwanted non register hotel guest.
Hopefully this hotel will maintain this level of quality and not degrade to the level of the other hotels in the area. As stated the Boquerón Beach Resort hotel is a gem in the area where good hotels are hard to find. We would stay in the Boquerón Beach Resort again and would recommend to anyone who wants to see the real Puerto Rico on the western side of the island with access to one of the better beaches in Puerto Rico.
