The price was more than fair, the room was coosy and very clean and nice with a perfect view to the mountains and river. We were expecting something much more modest there for we staied one more nightout of our scheule////

Room Tip: view to the river...

I don't know why I expected a much larger hotel, but I was really taken aback when we arrived, however we got a really friendly greeting which put me at ease. The rooms are on the small side, but very nice although no A/C which didn't bother me, but would some people in the summer. The Spa was a real surprise in that it can be privately booked, and is an absolute luxury after a day hiking. Food was simple but good both morning and evening. The real plus for the hotel was the owners, friendly, helpful, efficient, and just really nice people. We had booked hotel with Spa but they were very happy to re-allocate the money to the restaurant when we realised we could use the spa one day. Espot itself was a fantastic base for exploring the high Pyrenees.

I stayed at this lovely place for seven nights with my three daughters. We had two rooms. I would not hesitate to go back. The hotel is very clean and in a perfect location especially if you are there for hiking. Breakfast each day was perfect and on the couple of times we has dinner we were very pleased. The staff is very nice and helpful if you need assistance. The rooms are not small and they have a nice balcony with huge swinging doors that you can open for some nice mountain fresh air. The only thing that I was missing was the WiFi. The WiFi was only in the lobby and breakfast room and the connection was not always good. It would of been nice if the WiFi was in the rooms. This matters when your with three teenage girls. In summary, you will not be disappointed if this is the place you pick.

A pleasant hotel in the lovely mountain village of Espot, we were slightly disappointed that although we booked a double room there was only one chair, so we couldn't sit out together on the balcony! Also only one bedside table, and no air-con or fan in the room so it was very, very hot.

A nice half board hotel in a charming village in the mountains, near lots of hiking tracks. Public swimming pool and tourist office were on the other side of the street. We had a spacious room with a big bath room and balcony overlooking the main street without disturbing noice. Lovely view over the village and mountains from window and balcony. A large and not too hard bed, but a lumpy mattress (like in many other Spanish hotels) made the sleeping quality not so good. Good and friendly service in the reception and restaurant. Nice breakfast with many local products and stong, tasty coffee. Dinner was included and we had a choice of different local dishes, most of them very tasty. Some of the desserts were not home made, i e cheese mousse served directly from the package with the lid still on, was on the negative side.
Wifi only in the lobby and café, but we knew that before coming. We spent our time walking in and/or looking at the mountains!

Room Tip: ask for a room not facing the river. Our friends had one and it was rather damp and most of all nois...

Not really quite sure why this hotel had so many excellent reviews. The staff were very friendly but the rooms were very basic and there was an underlying musty smell.... our friends room had a very strong perfumed smell which certainly took some time to get used to. The hotel is right beside a river and though the noise of trickling water is charming at first, it does not take long before it becomes a bit grating!

The shower in our bathroom was of the shower attachment variety and no adjustment was possible, so the head kept on changing with the water pressing and fell off which was irritating and certainly expect a little more....

Very nice rural hotel, professionaly owned, well kept and efficiently served. Staff was kind and always willing to help; breakfast buffet was reasonably well supplied and the menu was sufficient although it lacks some variety: I personally reccommend going for dishes out of the menu.
Spa experience is a plus in itself, not to be missed and well worth the extra money. After a very short stay (2 day Puente del Pilar break) enjoying fall at its best, it's only fair to say that "the Encantats" were ourselves.
