“Business Meeting at Roca Blanca Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

In May 2013 we had a four days meeting at Roca Blanca Hotel in Espot. We combined working sessions in the meeting room available, with team building activities (trekking in Parc natural d'Aigüestortes, and rafting in Llavorsí). The experience has been absolutely fantastic. At Roca Blanca we felt like being at home, Anna and Josep made everything they could to make our stay unforgettable. On top of what over reviews state (hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious, breakfast is simply great, atmosphere in the evening is magic by the fireplace..) they helped us to organise the group activities, lunches, dinners etc... 10 on 10, and for a great value for money.

This is the second time I have been here, last was in 2010, it is immaculatey clean and very modern and comfortable, also incredibly welcoming. They don't do evening meals but there are pleny of choices just a short walk away in the village. Breakfast here is fantastic!

stayed for just one night, but its a really nice hotel, run by a really nice couple.
Doesnt do evening meal, but continental breakfast was nice. Room was nice & clean too !

Skiing is great, really enjoyable blues & reds, and 3,300 feet top to bottom. Only down side is it is a 5 minute drive to the slopes from the hotel, but plenty of parking.

Perfect to relax, enjoy nature and discover Aiguestortes National Park. The rooms are modern and spacious. The breakfast includes some local specialities like a variety of dried sausages. The perfect ending to a day of hiking was to sit in the garden of the hotel and enjoy a cold beer. The owners are very friendly.

We wanted to hike up and about Estany Sant Maurici and so looked for a place to stay in Espot. While the choices seemed limited, we landed on Hotel Roca Blanca and could not have been happier with our choice. While the hotel exterior is sort of an alpine construct, the rooms were modern, stylish and very comfortable. We were given the choice between the larger 1st floor room and the smaller attic roofed 3rd floor room and we opted for the latter (both looked great). Rooms and bathrooms were immaculate. Anna and Giuseppe were extremely helpful and generous in their hospitality. We met a British couple who are regular guests here and iI easily understand why. Included breakfast was excellent with wide choice of cheeses, cured meats, eggs (scrambled and a potato/cheese fritata). As the usual online sites showed no bookings available, I contacted Hotel directly and got a room. Very happy I pursued it. Also, gay friendly.

Josep and Anna run a clean, modern hotel and their friendliness, hard work and attention to detail have made staying at Roca Blanca in Espot a very enjoyable experience. The comfortable rooms are decorated with taste (although perhaps the modernist abstract paintings are only really to the taste of the designer!) and above all the breakfast, with really delicious croissants and a large selection of local cheeses and cold meats, is not to be missed. Excellent!

I stayed for three nights while hiking in the nearby national park. The hosts were very nice despite limited language interactions. Breakfast was amazing with the largest selection of meats, sausages, and cheeses of any place that I have stayed in Spain. The room was large and comfortable. I was there during an unusual heat wave and on the second day they changed me to a room that was not warmed by the afternoon sun. Highly recommended.
