“I am a 13 year old girl and this is my opinion of Kusadasi golf and spa resort.....”

After reading several other reviews of this resort i think some of them are very offputting to others and this hotel deserves a good review!

Me and my family had no trouble checking in, despite being warned by another family who we were staying with that they had an issue. We were driven straight to our apartment which had been cleaned and set up by arrival. We were very lucky with the location of our apartment, as it was a 1-2 minute walk to the lobby and the main pool which is where we visited everyday. We were also very lucky with where our apartment block was situated as many blocks were far away from the lobby and getting to them consisted of walking up many hills and steps. Each group of apartmets has their own pool and snack bar plus there is a main pool and snack bar with a mini waterpark with 9 waterslides which i (and even my dad)had great fun playing on!

Many reviews also mention that there was poor staff, however i found that the majority of staff were kind and friendly to everyone and most knew enough english to have a converestion with us. The cleaners did a good job of cleaning the room, although some features didn't work such as the bathroom lock kept getting stuck and i got locked in at least 3 times! The turkish seem to love it if you spaek to them in their own language as i guess not many people know how tro speak turkish.... here is a starter, hello - merhaba (pronounced mereba)

The evening entertainment was the main thing which didn't quite live up to it's standards. For example the 'drag queen show' consisted of one topless man (not dressed up as a woman) walking around the stage waving what seemed to be gold cloth. Not quite what we expected!

Daytime activities were excellent though. The 9 hole mini golf course kept me, my family and friends very entertained throughout the week! My dad and his mate played tennis a few times and had good fun. My parents used the gym and were pleased with their workouts! Apparently the spa is great and lives up to expectetions! There are 3 shops in the atrium: a clothes shop selling fake designer items, a shops selling fake deigner jwellry, watches and sunglasses etc. and a souvenir shop. Don be afraid to negotiate pries as some are very high for what the product should be worth.

We opted for all-inclusive as it was slightly better value and me and my sister found it easy to get food and drinks wich were in our world 'free' from the snack bar and buffet. We ate in the buffet in the evening all nights except one and it was very good, although most of it is turkish but there was always something I liked. When we did the a la carte dining we chose to go for mediterranean and although the food was lovely there wasn't much choice of food.

Overall i really enjoyed the holiday and would definataly go there again. I think it is a family resort mainly, but couples may enjoy it too. :D :D :D :D :D

Room Tip: Request the group of aparments called 'the oaks' because they are very close to the lobby an...

Stunning views, fabulous weather with a nice cooling breeze, top quality accomodation, very friendly staff (with the odd exception!) which is getting better and better each day as they respond to comments. Very eager to please there were improvements from our 1st week to 2nd so don't write it off from some of these comments.

There is everything on site for kids and it is VERY safe with its location and security. You can go to a different pool every day and feel like you are in a different location. Water slides are brilliant fun for kids and adults but remember to hold your nose as you enter! It is a big resort so might be worth asking for a centrally located apartment - they all seem to have great views because of location. I have seen a comment about poo in pools but we saw the pool closed at least twice when there had been glass / poo in it and now much more resort can do about that as its guests not treating it properly!

Unfortunately in our experience the worst aspect was reception which is your first impression - CLC management advised that this was being improved and they'd brought someone in to ensure it lives up to CLC standards and I'm sure it will.

We weren't all inclusive so ate on resort a few times - snack bars were good but a la carte a little pricy (golf 19th was fab and better value for money though). We did have a car so could eat out elsewhere and shop in kipa (tesco!) for more vatiety and better value and with quality of apartment and kitchen didn't mind cooking and at least we didn't over indulge because we were all inclusive!

We normally don't watch the entertainment but as it followed the kids disco every night we always had a good seat and stayed - it was really good :)

Recommend the Turkish bath in the spa - great experience of Turkey. Also had really good pedicure so spoil yourself! :)

Ladies Beach is well worth a visit (but very busy at weekends with Turkish people) and Kusadasi town is great for a bargain but don't forget to barter! Its not often you stay close to one of the seven wonders of the world so visit Ephesus but remember your hat and water its very hot! If you have a car worth going yourself as only 25 TL/adult free for kids.

Definitely worth a visit in the future :)

At first sight the resort looks very impressive with a number of swimming pools scattered around offering guests a choice of sitting by a busy main pool or smaller but quieter pools in other parts of the resort. The main restaurant is fairly good value for money although a bit of a scrum during busy periods. The appartment we stayed in was very impressive with incredible views over the mountains and down to the sea (although I think we were lucky as many other apartments won't have those views). The resort is some way out of Kusadasi but a bus transfer is provided several times a day down to the Club La Costa beach club, you can ask the driver to stop before then so you can either walk down into the town or down to Ladies Beach which is a lot more impressive than the Club La Costa one.
We did experience our fair share of problems: on arrival the apartment wasn't ready, reception staff kept telling us it would be another 30 mins but this went on for hours and even when we were allocated an apartment we arrived to find the cleaners had only just started and had to wait outside for another 30 mins - some staff were excellent but others seemed to regard guests as a nuisance - you had to wait ages to speak to anyone on reception as they were under-staffed and rushed off their feet dealing with complaints from other guests - the only shop on the resort offered very little choice so if you weren't all inclusive you needed to go offsite for supplies.....
Everyone we spoke to during the week had a list of complaints but to be honest most seemed to be down to staffing levels and poor management so given time I am sure things will improve.

Been here a week with another week to go and sick and tired of complaining and listening to others complaining about the poor standard..

This is not a CLC resort. It's full of package holiday makers and if I wanted a free for all I wouldn't have paid thousands of pounds for the privilege..

And the highlight of my holiday is getting an ear infection and finding out they haven't put any chlorine in the pool for over two weeks.. To top this off i watched the lifeguards washing a child's diarrhoea back into the pool !!!!!!

I've moved room three times due to very poor room standards such as bathroom flooded as waste pipes not connected and smell beyond belief and numerous other complaints that have already been mentioned. House keeping well what can I say your room is pot luck... Some never have cleaning and some have it twice a day !!! Interesting..

One member returned to their room to find the cleaners having breakfast with the contents of their fridge...

Need I say more......

If you've booked then think again as alot of people are wishing they went to Tenerife or Malaga as they are used to a certain standard....

Only good thing about this place is the weather and Kusadasi town...

Upon entry into the club, I was very impressed with ALL the common areas, main entrance, reception lobby, swimming pool, main restaurant and, yes, the Golf Course. Some areas within the complex were better than others. Views were amazing, walking around the complex was refreshing. I did not try eating at the restaurant, as I was able to use my kitchen to prepare breakfast, and drove to local restaurants for local Turkish Adana Kebab (Spicy and delicious). All inclusive was a bit pricy for me, as I don't drink. I did not try the private beach area, but was told it is to be seen, maybe next time.
Overall, I would go again, this time with my whole family.

As members for many years, we found this resort to fall well short of CLC standards. CLC has a very small presence here as they have handed over control to Sharia hotel staff. If you are a CLC member, and you are thinking of going here, be warned, it is not going to be what you expect, you will be holidaying with holidaymakers from many other tour operators. We will not go on with all the problems that we had at this resort, as many other members have either covered it, or, will cover the problems with future comments to come......

This is the first holiday we have ever had, where everyone was complaining, either to staff, or to other holidaymakers, about their experiences.

The plus points about this resort are, the views are stunning, the weather was great, we met some nice people, who jelled in the face of adversity.

We arrived at the Kusadasi Golf and Spa Resort having left our previous hotel because of quality issues. We had no such problems with this gorgeous new resort. We were dealt with at reception by the very friendly, efficient and FLUENT english speaking staff. We were then transported to our suite a short distance away { though a bit hilly} by golf buggy. The suite surpassed everything that you could expect from a 5* resort.
If you want a bit of peace and quiet while lounging about in the sun you are bound to find it at one of the resorts eleven pools
We did have a couple of issues, one was the availability of tea and coffee at breakfast time and the other was the fact that dinner was a bit hectic as it was only served for two hours. We mentioned these problems to Nafia the Sales Manager of the resort and both problems were sorted within 24 hours. This willingness to respond to their guests comments will result in any teething problems that a new resort is bound to have being smoothed out very quickly.
We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this excellent resort.
