I would definitely recommend a trip to Al Corso for anyone looking to break away from the tourist traps in Venice and venture to the suburbs for a true Italian experience! We were fortunate enough to be invited to this gem of a restaurant, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was to die for (try the anti pasta platters, the gnocci, and anything grilled!). The desserts (cinnamon and pineapple gelato and fresh baked treats) and wine selection were fantastic. The owners and staff members were extremely accommodating and friendly and we felt like we were among family. I highly recommend this restaurant and will return on future trips to Venice!
