“ok business hotel if you have to work in neighborhood”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

The hotel is reasonably OK if you have to work in the neighborhood. I'd stay again in this hotel.

Few positive points -
It is close to the carrefour shopping centres
It has a agreement with the nearby Virgin training center so you can go there with a discount
Decent breakfast

Few attention points -
In my first room on the second floor I had ants in my bed. This was promptly fixed and I got a different room.
The mattrass is too hard (it almost feels like you are sleeping on concrete floor)
The television browsing is very irritating , it has a very weird delay of 3 seconds after which it reacts on the tv. the channels shown are worthless if you dont understand italian, you will only see news channels in english.

The hotel provides the business traveler everything she needs. The room is clean, bed is comfortable, cabs are accessible. As expected, most tv shows are in Italian so there's not much in terms of entertainment. Location of the room doesn't matter as there's nothing to see in Milanofiori. Proximity to the station via a new shopping complex is a bonus as there's lots of eating places nearby. Breakfast served out on the deck is also lovely. Be sure to mention you're connected to any of the nearby offices to avail of special arrangements such as free wifi, etc. Compared to nearby hotels, I'd highly recommend this if you're in Milanofiori for a day on business. I would probably go somewhere else if I'm on holiday.

This hotel has everything you need for a business trip. Rooms are extremely confortable. Location is a bit far from center but there is a train station right next to it. The hotel is situated in the middle of a shopping center. Its entrance is from the shopping center parking ( virgin interactive) so dont be confused.

I don't know if I stayed in the same hotel as the other reviewers because our experience at the H2C was great! We arrived in the afternoon and checked in without a problem, got to our room and it was very modern in design and essentials. The bed was as to be expected in Italy (kind of hard and the pillows pretty flat) but it didn't stop us from sleeping. The hotel breakfast was decent (again as to be expected - deli meats and cheeses, pastries, and even eggs and bacon for those who wanted an "American" style breakfast).
The bathroom was perfectly clean as was the rest of the room. Getting around the hotel was not a problem, you just have to pay attention to which elevator you get into (we were on the 3rd floor and made the mistake once to get on the elevator that brought you to the level where cars can pick you up).
My only complaints would be that wifi was not free (and it really should be for €150/night) and that it was a bit far from the city center. It was perfect for my husband as his office for the week was just down the motorway.
There are a few restaurants in the area if you don't feel like figuring out which ticket you need to buy to get to the city center on the Metro and they were all okay, nothing fabulous.
Other than that, we had no problems with the staff or anything else. When my husband has to come back to Milan for work, we'll probably stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask at the front desk before going to the Metro station which tickets to buy. We wasted a bit of mon...

I dont give it the bad design award because of the poor decor choices (as this is a personal taste thing). I give it for a few reasons but chief among them is the fact that when it rains, you cannot sleep! There is a lot of thin metal around the windows that make it sound like you are in a tin shack at the end of a driving range (golf)! Not a wink of sleep.

Im writing this while lying awake @ 3am, atop the box-spring mattress (bed is rock-hard, no different than floor).

You have to play "hop-scotch" with the elevators to get out of the building.

No room service if you decide you need a snack while not able to sleep. This place is a FAIL!

Reception staff was little service oriented. Carpeted hotel, which I'm not a fan of. Hygiene in the room was okay, but the bathroom looked like it had been finished off quickly by the builders.

Internet connection was slow, but according to reception that was impossible. Lamp in bathroom was not working, but reporting that did'n provoke much reaction or action.

Restaurant had poor choice, food was average. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast was definitely understaffed with very hard working and friendly personnel. Nice breakfast, including fresh juice.

Location was great, free parking. Next to a cinema and shopping centre for those who have an hour for chlothes shopping it's ideal.

I'd come back since there's not much alternative in the area, but would prefer the reception staff to be more friendly.
