“Okay but overpriced food and drinks”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

Had the Maryland Crabcake Sandwich - basically a burger and fries with a crab meat patty. Crab was good and tasty. So-called "brioche" is a toasted hamburger bun. $7 for a draft beer. Total bill for crab cake burger and one beer $26 before tip - not worth more than $16 at most. Others at table were equally unimpressed with their food.

“Okay Only”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

First visit to the National Harbor and the Public House was recommended. Wis we had stuck to our original thought of Elevation Burger!

First thing I noticed, were the dirty floors and carpeting...Bits of trash, food, in the restroom, dirty sink area, no soap in dispensers (there is a Red Flag!), no seat covers. Dusty seat backs, tables left un-bussed?

Partner had a burger and fries, fries were good, burger swimming in grease. I ordered a salad with "very light dressing" it came just drenched. Even my unpicky partner was "wow, that is a whole bottle of dressing." That salad went back and came with dressing on the side.

Service was okay. Gal was nice, and apologetic about the salad.

This is not a restaurant I would recommend nor return too.

Not bad, service a little curt, but the food was good. The weather was nice and we set out on the patio.

“Very poor meal”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

The pastalmi on Rye was very bad. Crusty out side. Was supposed to have cole slaw, but the was may 2 shreds of slaw. My wife's chips were extremely cold. The table behind us left, cause it took more the 45 minutes ans their meal still hadn't come out. The menu is very poor.

“Good for a quick bite”

This is the closest dining option to the Gaylord. I ate there twice. Nothing fancy. Good salads. They serve food until midnight so we were able to eat there after returning from the night DC tour offered by the hotel.
